Facial Clay Masks?

Happy Sunday everyone!
So I have been searching for a clay mask for so long! I'm looking for one that really detoxifies and is suitable for oily, acne-prone skin. I really really loved the effects of Mask of Magnaminty from Lush and just finished up my mega pot yesterday however..I really wasn't a fan of the talc or parabens used in the product. So i'm looking for a dry (mix it yourself) mask or a premoistened mask that is paraben and formaldehyde free. Any ideas?

  1. Hey Julia,

I completely agree with you about the Lush masks. They smell and look delicious, but...I really didn't like the fact of having talc and parabens in it. Talc is pretty cheap and not that healthy to your skin...and besides there are so many other kick ass masks that contain more fresh and healthy products.
If you want my advice about a good clay mask for acne and such...you can by the powdery clay and mix it yourself with water or oils. They are fresh, healthier and will give you a great feeling of actually making the mask yourself.

  2. I was contemplating that actually.. I mean it can't be that hard to buy some french green clay and essential oils, maybe i'll give it a try =) Thanks for the encouragement!
